Our Story
Grit & Grain Co. was established in 2015 by Devin LaLonde and Dan Crosby, who decided that building things together would be more fun than building things alone. They formed G&G, a woodworking company specializing in custom furniture, with the intent to provide customers with quality craftsmanship that will stand the test of time, created with locally sourced materials, including salvaged and rescued lumber from right here in Central Florida.

Meet Devin
With a degree in Interior Design Technology, Devin has been building furniture since 2004 and launched his first company, Devin LaLonde Designs, in January of 2013. He loves to create beautiful wood pieces and finds motivation and inspiration in the challenge of working with unique materials. Devin is an expert when it comes to designing fine custom pieces to meet the specific needs of his clients, and his creative concepts are truly one-of-a-kind.

Meet Dan
Dan is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where he studied sculpture. His time there included woodworking classes, during which he discovered a love for handcrafting unique products. Dan worked as a model-maker for five years, all the while building custom wood pieces on the side out of his home garage. A 9th-generation woodworker, Dan is passionate about the details and loves creating works that will become family heirlooms for generations to come.
